You can obtain and send Ethereum from a simple-to-use exchange like coinbase. Once your account is funded, you can send your ETH (Ethereum) to your Metamask wallet.
The Chrome browser Metamask extension will allow you to obtain ETH (Ethereum). If you are on an Iphone or Android, download the Metamask App.
If you create your Metamask on your computer browser or mobile device app you will have to use your key-phrase to log back into the other device and create a new short password to login quickly. Wallets will always be able to verify you with your key-phrase but if you use your computer browser or mobile device app, and try to login to the other device you will have to use your key-phrase to login.
